Chiappa White Rhino—A Revolver Revolution
The Chiappa White Rhino is the same as its Rhino cousin, except it has an electroless nickel finish instead of tactical black. The Chiappa Rhino has revolutionized the revolver with its patented design. Typical revolvers fire from the top-most chamber which is aligned with the barrel. The Rhino, however, fires from the 6:00 cylinder and the barrel is aligned with this bottom-most chamber.
The lower barrel position is key to the Rhino's low-recoil characteristics as it lowers the center of gravity and yields a centerline of the bore that is more in line with a shooter’s arm. This allows for the most natural “point ability” while engaging a target.
The Rhino’s unique barrel position also drastically reduces both recoil and muzzle flip so subsequent shots can be on target faster than ever before. Because of the reduced recoil, ultra light alloys are used in the construction of the Rhino.
Besides a unique barrel position, the Rhino also features a flat-sided cylinder which reduces the typical revolver profile allowing for greater concealment. The interchangeability of the barrel allows the Rhino to be as comfortable in the field as it is in service duty.
Each component of the Rhino is machined from solid steel with the most modern machinery available in the gun industry today. The result is an ultra smooth action, a perfect trigger pull, greater fluidity, lightness and steadiness when shooting. The Rhino is truly a multipurpose handgun capable of reliable defensive duty, scoring ten rings, and taking game.
